Meredith Fraser is a booking agent from New Orleans, LA. Meredith began working in the music industry in her late teens while also developing a career in the Hollywood film industry. In 2014 she left the film industry to pursue a full time career with Panache Booking as a booking agent. She represents artists like U.S. Girls, Homeshake, Aldous Harding, La Luz and many more.

The music!

What is the biggest challenge you face in your job?

Navigating the multitude of personalities (LOL!) in the music industry and figuring out the best way to approach each one of them so that I can get my artists what they need to grow and prosper.

What was your first job in the music industry?

My friends & I ran a DIY space in Columbia, MO and I handled all of the booking that took place. I was in my late teens and had absolutely no idea what I was doing, but I loved music and figured it out as I went! Through that I was able to start booking tours for friends with contacts I made through the touring bands I was booking in our space.

Favourite non-music-related pastime?

I follow politics closely and studied Journalism in college. I'm a total news junkie.

What is one thing you always pack when you go to a music festival?

A toothbrush. It's rude to have bad breath.
