SCARY BEAR SOUNDTRACK

Scary Bear Soundtrack is an Ottawa-based indie dream pop band featuring the works of Gloria Guns, with a sound that critics and journalists have compared to Alvvays, Stars, Tegan and Sara, and Cocteau Twins. The band has a strong focus on lifting up voices of women and people of colour to fight racism and misogyny, and are actively involved with Girls+ Rock Ottawa. The band's critically acclaimed anti-violence against women song "Fault Lines" made it to the national top 4 in CBC's Searchlight Competition for Canada's Best New Artist in 2015. Scary Bear Soundtrack has performed at Ottawa Bluesfest, Marvest, Chinatown Remixed, Capital Pride, Ottawa Race Weekend, JUNOfest, Mirror Mountain Film Festival, DIY Spring, Folk on the Rocks Festival (Yellowknife), and NWT Pride. They are currently recording their newest album with Mike Dubue at the Quyon Church.
